HOW TO MAKE DELICIOUS BREAD?

  1. Sprinkle some white flour into the bottom of the banneton then shake it all around so it coats from the bottom to the sides. It’ll prevent the wet dough sticky on the banneton!
  2. Place flour, sourdough culture, bit of salt, sugar, small amount of olive oil into the bowl with some water. Turn on the machine and gradually add enough water until a soft, pliable dough ball form or you can do by hands. Let it run for about 3 to 5 minutes. you may need to add a bit more of flour if the dough seems too wet when feeling with your fingers
  3. Place the loaf into the banneton with the irregular side up. The smooth cloaked side should be in contact with the rattan basket. The dough placed in the floured banneton to rise. You may place the banneton with dough in a warm for more efficiency.
  4. After the dough is rested, use your fingers to be sure that it isn’t sticking to the wicker. Gently turn the basket over onto your tray, it should gently drop onto the tray to avoid the deformation bread. Slash the loaf in a cross or any decorative slash shape.
  5. Now comes the final step! It took nearly an hour in the family oven at 450 degrees F (20′ before baking, preheat your oven to 450 degrees F). The result was worth the effort – your family will happy with the beautiful bread!
