The 32cm DEEPan will be not just an awesome deep casserole/dutch oven roaster/braiser with 7 litre (7 quart) capacity, but also a BIG family/entertaining-sized slow cooker when matched with the 32cm BIGskillet. These two pans have matching rims, designed to fit snugly together as base and lid. You can cook either way up: with a deep base and shallow lid or vice-versa (cast iron makes a great insulating lid when not in direct contact with heat). Features: Big 7 Litre (7 Quart) capacity. Wide but not too deep: can be used as a regular pan for frying and browning, then covered for braising and slow cooking. Thin walls with vertical reinforcing ribs to reduce weight and increase strength and horizontal heat-capturing ribs. Matching pair: fits 32cm BIGskillet as a base for casserole, or as a lid for dutch oven format.
